Madina Lake Album Cover

Madina lake’s  ‘From them, through us to you’ is their debut album, released in 2007, and instantly introduces us to a striking image on the front cover of a young girl. This girl (Called Adalia) is told throughout a story within the each track, similar to a book, each song is a chapter. This is reflected by the fact that  the whole cover looks very much like a old fashioned book, perhaps an old fashioned children’s book. Which is quite unsual for a Alternative Rock band,  however it does link to the conventions of these type of bands striving for their own artistic style and trying to look different from their ‘competition’. However it is often know they wish to establish themselves within their genre and to their audience (Who are often the arty type).
